  • Jacob Sullivan, of Gray Rapids, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at the age of 42.

    Born in Miramichi, he was the son of Angela Jardine and Gerard (Sonny) Nash. He worked as a painter and a tree trimmer and was a member of Gray Rapids United Pentecostal Church.

    He will be greatly missed by his wife Farren Colford of Gray Rapids; son Landon Sullivan; mother Angela Jardine (Cyril) of Gray Rapids; father Gerard Nash (Rosalind) of Miramichi; three sisters Marcey Jardine (Brady Sutherland) of South Esk, Emily Nash and Monica Nash both of Miramichi; brother Jared Jardine (Kyle Goodwin Estabrooks) of Sackville; niece Kylie Sutherland and nephews Kingston Sutherland and Michael Nash; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

    Jacob was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Spurgeon and Eva Sullivan; paternal grandparents Gerard and Viola Nash; and father-in-law Darren Jones.

    The family will receive relatives and friends from Gray Rapids United Pentecostal Church, on Thursday, June 3, 2021, from 6 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021, at 2 pm, from Gray Rapids United Pentecostal Church, with Rev. Graham Russell officiating.

    As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a memorial of one's choice.
