Henrietta Hanley

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Henrietta (Gray) Hanley of Miramichi, New Brunswick, announce her peaceful passing on June 28, 2026, at the age of 80.

Born in Dalhousie, New Brunswick, on July 26, 1945, Henrietta was the beloved daughter of the late Hadley Gray and Rose (Robert) Gray.

Henrietta will be remembered for her kind heart, quick wit, and wonderful sense of humour. She had a gift for making people laugh and was happiest when surrounded by those she loved. She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, whether it was sharing a cup of tea, taking a walk, or spending time with family and friends. She took great joy in cooking and baking, always sharing her homemade treats with family, friends, and anyone who stopped by.

Henrietta is survived by her loving daughters, Diane Hanley (Frank) and Sandra Connors (David); her cherished grandchildren, Bradley, Matthew, and Sarah; and her adored great-grandchildren, Elovie and Crew. Nothing brought her greater happiness than watching them grow and surrounding them with her unconditional love. She is also survived by her sister, Gladys Roy, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Besides her parents, Henrietta was predeceased by her brothers, Robert Gray, Maurice Gray, Paul Gray, and Roger Gray, and by her sister, Noella Lizotte.

As per Henrietta's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.

The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Miramichi Regional Hospital for their care, compassion, and kindness shown to Henrietta.

Henrietta's kindness, generosity, laughter, and unconditional love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
