It is with deep sadness that the family of Hayleigh Lorena Courtney Carvery, of Miramichi, announces that she passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Dr Georges L. Dumont Hospital, at the age of 29.

Born in Miramichi, on November 21st 1994, she was the daughter of Michelle Cusson. Hayleigh graduated from James M. Hill High School in 2012 and loved to help others whether it be animal or friend. Hayleigh was a lover of all animals. She had a passion for rescuing cats and dogs in need of rehoming or forever homes. Her dog Elmo and Leon the Hedgehog being among the many. Hayleigh loved to feed deer and the ducks at Ritchies Wharf. She loved children and they loved her back as did her clients and coworkers at MORE Services and Autism Resources.
Hayleigh was close to her brother Drey and her Mom Michelle and always so loving and giving of herself which is obvious in her gift of life to others through organ donation that will save many lives. All who knew her loved her.
She will be greatly missed by her mother Michelle Cusson of Miramichi; brother Drey Carvery of Miramichi; fiancé Kirsten LaBillois; grandfather Gilles Cusson; uncle Rene Cusson (Melissa); cousins Calvin and Devin Cusson; and many other family members and friends.
She was predeceased by her grandmother Kaye Cusson (2011).
A celebration of life will take place at Northumberland Funeral Home Chapel, on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at 6 pm.
