Harold Connors, of Sunny Corner, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2018, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 84.
Born in Boom Road, he was the son of the late Richard and Annie (Cain) Connors. He was a truck driver for over 50 years and a member of St Stephen's United Church, Red Bank.
He is survived by his two sons Frank of Miramichi and Randy (Rosanna) of Ottawa; daughter Marina of Moncton; six sisters Marion MacDonald of Montreal, Florence Donovan of Miramichi, Inez Metivier of London, ON, Anna MacDonald (Henry) of Miramichi, Ruth Longtin of Montreal, and Marjorie Lefebvre (Al) of Sunny Corner; two brothers Billy (Theresa) and Kenny (Claudia) both of Boom Road; sister-in-law Florence Connors of Boom Road; seven grandchildren: as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters Dorothy and Edith; brothers Bobby and Art; and brothers-in-law Clint Stewart, Eldon MacDonald, Merlin Donovan, Paul Metivier, Andre Longtin, Stephen McKibbon, and Sterling Harris.
At Harold's request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside service will take place in St Stephen's United Church Cemetery, Red Bank, at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a memorial of one's choice.
