Harald Aaen

Harald Aaen, of Miramichi passed away at his residence, on November 26, 2024, at the age of 80.

Born in Sandefjord, Norway, he was the son of Ole & Elinor Aaen. He retired from his work as a Fiber Op Technician for 35 + Years.

He will be greatly missed by his three sons Peter (Ljubica) of Denver, CO, Chris (Sarah) of Fredericton, and Steven of Grand Prairie, AB; Sister Turid Svendsen (Odd) of Sandefjord, Norway; three grandchildren Luka, Audrey, and Gordon; nephews Rikard, John, Mace and Lloyd; and nieces Merete and Christine.

Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by his wife Mary Lynn (McEwen) Aaen.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.

As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Habitat for Humanity, the Canadian Cancer Society or to a memorial of one’s choice.
