Granville Peterson, of Miramichi, passed away on Friday, February 15, 2019, at Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, in Moncton, at the age of 61.

Born in Miramichi, he was the son of the late Merle and Elizabeth (Sutherland) Peterson.

He will be greatly missed by his sister Helen Arbeau (Steve) of Saint John; three brothers James (Betty) of Miramichi, David (Diane) of South Esk, and Howard (Kelly) of Halifax; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his two brothers Bill and Wendell, and two sisters Joanne Hubbard and Marlene Scott.

The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home, 102 Pleasant Street, Miramichi, on Friday, February 22, 2019, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019, from Northumberland Funeral Home Chapel, 102 Pleasant Street, Miramichi, at 11 am, with Rev. Terry Penny officiating.
