Gordon Paul, of Eel Ground, passed away at home peacefully surrounded by his family, on Thursday, September 12,2019, at the age of 76.

Born in Eel Ground, NB, he was the son of the late Peter and Mary (Wilmot) Paul. Gordon lived in Boston, Massachusetts for over 50 years before moving home to Eel Ground with his loving wife Mary four years ago.
He worked as a welder, crane operator, and truck driver before his retirement, and was a member of St Joachim's Roman Catholic Church.

He will be greatly missed by his wife Mary (Considine) Paul; daughter Diane Nelson (Domenic DeFabio) of Lynn, Massachusetts; son Kenneth Paul (Mary) of Eel Ground; sister Theresa Smith of Florida; four grandchildren Michael Paul (Beverly O’Leary) of Alberta, Andrea Paul (Scott McCoy) of Strathadam, Shane Paul (Stephannie Stewart) of Sunny Corner, and Steven Nelson (Nadia Pich) of Lynn, Massachusetts; three great grandchildren Michael Paul, Layla Paul, and Parker Paul;  sisters-in-law Anne Paul of Medford, Massachusetts and Betty, Margaret and Helen all of Ireland; brother-in-law PJ of Ireland; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by two bothers Willard Paul and Kenneth Paul.

The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home on Monday, September 16, 2019 from 5 to 8 pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at 11 am, from Northumberland Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place in St Joachim’s Cemetery followed by a feast at the Band Hall.
