Gerald John Porter

Gerald "Gerry" John Porter, of Sunny Corner, passed away at his residence on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at the age of 66.

Born in Miramichi, NB, he was the son of the late Warren and Ruth (Abbott) Porter. Prior to retirement, he worked as a car detailer at Roussel Toyota, and also did body work. He enjoyed watching wrestling and loved boating with his family.

He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Daphne Porter and their son Zachary Porter, both of Sunny Corner; sisters Sheila Cochrane (Late Lloyd) of Fredericton, Valerie Howe (Edward) of Millerton, and Beverley Curtis (Donnie) of Sunny Corner; one brother Ralph Porter (Leva) of Sunny Corner; father-in-law Edward Daley of Miramichi; as well as extended family, and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Leslie Porter, and mother-in-law Josephine (Curtis) Daley.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private graveside burial will take place at St Stephen's Presbyterian Cemetery, in Boom Road, at a later date.
