Frederick Donald Ward, of Renous, passed away on Wednesday,March 23, 2016, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 68.

Born in Kapuskasing, Ontario, he was the son of the late Frederick James and Gertrude (Simpson) Ward. He worked as a millwright before his retirement, and was a member of the Canadian Cadets as well as RCMP Auxiliary. He enjoyed playing darts, painting, fishing, and hunting.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Malvina (Vienneau) Ward; two daughters Christine (Dana Hallihan) of Renous and Danielle of Geraldton, ON; three grandchildren Hayley, Shelby, and Tristan; two great granddaughters Shayna and Octavia; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration in Fred's memory will be held at a later date.
