Françoise Marie Robichaud

Françoise Marie Robichaud passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at the age of 87.

Born in Saint Wilfred, NB, she was the daughter of the late Éloie and Emilianne (Richard) Robichaud. She worked in housekeeping and provided child and senior care before her retirement. 

She will be greatly missed by her children, Marie Florence Martin of Gaspereau Forks, NB, André Joseph Martin (Rhonda Lamb) of McKinleyville, Majeline Martin (Don Maldoune) of Burlington, ON, and Nicole Savage (Norman) of Black River, and their father, Adé Martin; her sisters, Matilda LeBlanc (Late Camille), Yolande Savoie (Late Madé), Odette Robichaud (Yvon), Violette Robichaud, Louise Robichaud (Gaetan Savoie), and Melinda Robichaud; her brothers, Lévin Robichaud (Levina), Herménégilde Robichaud (Claudia), Léonard Robichaud (Géraldine), Eugène Robichaud (Vernice), Gérard Robichaud (Sonia), and Venance Robichaud (Caroline); sister-in-law Henrietta Robichaud; 12 grandchildren, Adé Martin, Kelly Lanteigne, Kyle Savage, Samantha Savage, Leroy Savage, Jessie Martin, Nicole Martin, Crystal Lengua, Andréa Martin, Justin Kenny, Sabrina Martin, and Andy Martin; great grandchildren, Kyron, Hailey, Evan, Vanson, Abigail, Alexi, Delaney, Brooklyn, Ellie, Cassidy, Lincoln, Lilly, Lilah, Laura, Ben, Charlie, Jeffrey, Andrea; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Alexina Robichaud, and her brothers, Valaire Robichaud (Late Marie-Lou) and Jacques Robichaud. 

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, August 17, 2026, at 3 pm, at St Michael's Basilica, with Father Antonio Reyes officiating, with a celebration of her life to follow at the Club d’âge d’or in St Wilfred. 

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart Foundation, or to a memorial of one's choice.
