Elizabeth "Beth" Ann (Lawrence) Jones passed away peacefully at Losier Hall on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at the age of 88.
Born in Norwich, ON, she was the daughter of the late John and Eva May (Hussey) Lawrence, and worked as a Supervisor at Imperial Tobacco in Guelph, Ontario prior to her retirement.
She was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed the outdoors, especially snowmobiling and boating. She also enjoyed reading a good book and watching a movie.
She will be greatly missed by her two sons Jay Harding (Angela Emond) of Collette, NB, and Jeff Harding (Heather) of Florida; six grandchildren Shannon, Alyssa, Tyler, Graham, Brian, and Tara; three great grandchildren Nolan, Brayden, and Lily; and her nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband Ed Harding; her second husband George Jones; and her brother Norman Lawrence.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place at Northumberland Crematorium and interment will take place in Guelph Woodlawn Cemetery at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a memorial of one's choice.
