Eileen Gerrish, of Miramichi, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2017, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 94.

Born in Quarryville, she was the daughter of the late Catherine Gerrish Langan. She was a beautiful quilter and sewer and loved her coffee group.

She will be missed by her three sisters Dorothy Bauer of Moncton, Gertrude Carson of Shediac, and Dolores Mullin of Miramichi; brother Sterling of Edmonton, AB; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her mother, she was predeceased by her brother James.

At the family's request, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will take place on Friday, February 3, 2017, at 2 pm, from Northumberland Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Kevin Matthews officiating.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a memorial of one's choice.
