Edward Williams

Edward Williams, of Blackville, passed away at home on Friday, January 23, 2026, at the age of 71.

Born in Miramichi, he was the son of the late Mary Baglole. He was a truck driver prior to his retirement.

He will be greatly missed by his son, Justin Dumont of Moncton; his sister, Irene Peterson (Late Peter) of White Rapids; half brothers, Ben Vickers (Sharon) of Blackville, Kenneth Vickers of Gray Rapids, Alden Vickers (Gladys) of Blackville, and Jeremy Vickers (Natalie) of Blackville; his niece and nephew, Treena Welsh (David) and Joshua Peterson; great niece and nephews, Seth, Adeline, and Ezra; as well as his companion Tux and his special care worker Patricia Underhill of Blackville.

Visitation will take place at the White Rapids C.W.L. Hall on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St Bridget’s Roman Catholic Church, in Renous, on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at 12 pm, with Father Peter Igwe officiating. Interment will take place in the church cemetery in the spring.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a memorial of one’s choice.
