Edna Mae Dalton

Edna Mae Dalton, of Natoaganeg (Eel Ground), passed away at her residence, on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at the age of 78.

Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Wendell and Yvonne (Denault) Dalton. Prior to her retirement, she worked for AT&T and Lucent Technologies.

She will be greatly missed by her children Judi-Ann Ward (Wayne) and Joe Dalton, both of Natoaganeg, and their father Joe Vicaire; three sisters Carole Swasson of New Hampshire, Esther Cole (Late Bob) of Florida, and Ruth Ann Rodrigues (Tony) of Florida; brother Ricky Dalton of New Hampshire; grandchildren Joseph Dalton Jr., Jennelly Martinez Matos, Jilianne Dalton, Alisha Sweezey (Matt), and Christine Ward; great grandchildren Sloan, Militaw, Charlotte, and Xavier; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers Kenneth Dalton (Late Evelyn) and David Dalton.

Visitation will take place on Monday, June 9, 2025, at Northumberland Funeral Home, from 6 to 8 pm. A celebration will be held at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a memorial of one's choice.
