Edith Deborah Mullin, of Miramichi, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at Percy's Place, on Friday, March 6, 2026, at the age of 77.
Born in Newcastle, she was the daughter of the late Jeannette (Matchett) and Everett Kenny. She was a homemaker and also worked as a Residential Care Provider, providing home-based care for clients.
She will be greatly missed by her daughter Marsha Gillespie (David) of Miramichi; two sons Jason Mullin (Kerri) and Justin Mullin both of Miramichi; sister Judy Matchett of Strathadam; brother Freeman Kenny of Sillikers; four grandchildren, Brittany, Brandon, Eve, and Emmily; four great grandchildren, Chase, Emersyn, Jordyn, and Sutton; as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Allison Mullin; her brothers, Charles, John, Joseph, Marlon, Howard, Fred, Art, and Walter; and her sisters, Maggie, Mary, Rita, and Freda.
A devoted woman of God and a true prayer warrior, she lived her life anchored in unwavering faith, trusting the Lord through every season. Her prayers strengthened many, her kindness touched countless hearts, and her love for God was reflected in the way she cared for family, church, and community. Though she has left this earthly home, we rejoice knowing she now rests in the presence of the Lord she faithfully served. Her legacy of faith, love, and prayer will continue to guide and inspire all who knew her.
Visitation will take place at Northumberland Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 4 pm to 8 pm, and on Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 11 am to 12:45 pm.
