Mr. Douglas William Sullivan, of Gray Rapids passed away at the Miramichi Hospital on Saturday May 12, 2007 at the age of 78.

Born in Gray Rapids, he was the son of the late Melbourne and Doris (Kelly) Sullivan. He worked for the Bowater Company until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife Noreen (Coughlan) Sullivan; two sons Burton (Eleanor) of Sunny Corner and Glenn (Deanna) of Gray Rapids; two daughters Willa Curtis (Angus) of Gray Rapids and Wanda Curtis (Scott) of Gray Rapids; two brothers Basil (Hulda) of Gray Rapids and Everett (Vada) of Gray Rapids; 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by one sister Lena Curtis and three brothers Loman, Irving and Sheldon.
