Dorothy Marie (Lutz) Matchett, of Miramichi, passed away peacefully at Bridgeview Hall on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at the age of 80.

She will be greatly missed by her two daughters Vicky Matchett and Wanda Matchett (Kevin Black) both of Miramichi; her son Todd Matchett (Heather) of Vancouver, BC; her sister Shirley (Russell) of Moncton; and five grandchildren Madison, Zachary, Shelby, Lexie, and Nicholas.

Dorothy was predeceased by her parents, her husband William Matchett; son-in-law Dana Ward; one sister Ruby LeBlond; and two brothers Albert and Billy.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or to a memorial of ones choice.
