Dorothy Mary Knight of La Maison des Colombes, in Neguac, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at the age of 70.
Born in Miramichi, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Gertrude (Breau) Knight.
She will be greatly missed by her son, Gavin Knight; sister, Donna Knight; brothers, Fred Knight, Hazen Knight and Gordie Knight.; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Debbie Bright; and her brothers, Carl, Ronnie, Reggie, and Glenn.
The family would like to thank the special care home, La Maison des Colombes, in Neguac, for their compassionate services, and Extra Mural in Neguac, for their excellent care and services for Dorothy.
A graveside burial will take place on Friday, August 28, 2026, at 11 am, at St Mary's Roman Catholic Cemetery (360 Newcastle Blvd Miramichi, NB). All are welcome to attend.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of Northumberland Funeral Home & Crematorium, 102 Pleasant St., telephone (506) 622-7741.
