Donna Jean (Bannister) Corcoran

Donna Jean (Bannister) Corcoran, of McKinleyville, passed away peacefully at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Friday, February 27, 2026, at the age of 69.

Born in Sussex, and raised in Petitcodiac, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Elsie (Kaye) Bannister. Prior to her retirement, she worked for the RCMP Canadian Firearms Program (CFP).

She will be greatly missed by her husband, Brian Corcoran of McKinleyville; son, Greg Corcoran (Alex) of Miramichi; daughters, Christine Adams (Cory) of Quispamsis and Nancy Buggie (Justin) of Derby; many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Daniel Corcoran Bradford.

A special thank you to the palliative care unit at the Miramichi Regional Hospital and to Dr. Gerard Losier and Dr. Sean Losier for the excellent care they provided to Donna.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private burial will take place in St Mark's Anglican Cemetery, Chelmsford, at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Percy's Place.
