Donald Sherrard

Donald Sherrard of Miramichi passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital with family by his side on Friday, December 5, 2025, at the age of 64.

Born in Chatham, he was the son of Barbara (Howe) Sherrard and the late David Earle Sherrard. Donald enjoyed helping others and would do without to help Family and Friends. He left his job to be his Mom's full time caregiver and never complained once. He loved to dance, collect different things and he was big on recycling, and always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need and a smile that came straight from his heart.

He will be greatly missed by his mother, Barbara; sister, Wanda Maillet (Rick) of Miramichi; brothers, David Sherrard (Irma) of Ferry Road, Norman Sherrard of Chatham, Todd Sherrard of Miramichi, and Sterling Sherrard of Red Deer, AB; as well as aunts, one ucle, many cousins, several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Besides his father, he was predeceased by his brother, Allan Sherrard; sister, Joan Marie Sherrard; and nephew, Trent Sherrard and sister in law Anna Leigh Sherrard.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside burial will take place in the spring at Our Lady of Good Counsel Roman Catholic Cemetery in Millerton.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
