Deborah Anne Matchett, of Miramichi, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 59.

Born in St Catherine’s, ON, she was the daughter of Judith Matchett and the late Vincent Matchett. She worked as a waitress and was a member of the Roman Catholic Church.

She will be greatly missed by her mother Judith Matchett of Strathadam; daughter Terri Lynn Matchett of Alberta; brother Tim Matchett (Pauline) of Whitney; sisters Lisa Matchett of Miramichi and Lorraine Commandant of Eel Ground; grandchildren Savannah, Wesley, and Asia Rae; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her father, Vincent Matchett, she was predeceased by her children Stephanie Matchett and Matthew Matchett, and son-in-law Michael Holmes.

The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, from 12 pm to 1:45 pm. The funeral service will follow at 2 pm, from Northumberland Funeral Home Chapel, with Father Peter Aloo officiating.
