David Weaver Hennessy, of Blackville, passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2013, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 53.

Born on June 21, 1959, David was the son of Jeannine (Legere) and the late Weaver Hennessy. He was a member of the Blackville Volunteer Fire Department, the Miramichi Snow-Goers, the Liberal Association, and Saint Raphael's Roman Catholic Church.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Joanne (Jardine) of Blackville; his daughter Kelly of Blackville; his son Christopher (Jennifer Saunders) of Blackville; his mother Jeannine of Blackville; his sister Joanna of Blackville; and his niece Abby.

At the family's request, there will be no visitation. A funeral mass will be held from Saint Raphael's Roman Catholic Church, in Blackville, on Monday, February 18, 2013, at 4 pm, with Father Owen Burns officiating.

As expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Spinal Research Organization, the Josie Foundation, or to a memorial of one's choice.
