David George Lee

David George Lee, of South Nelson, passed away at home on Friday, January 9, 2026, at the age of 77.

Born in Newcastle, he was the son of the late Wilson and Ruth (Johnson) Lee. He worked in construction and at the mill prior to his retirement.

He will be greatly missed by his children, Jamey Lee (Nicole) of Sunny Corner and Bobbie Jo McAllister (Cory) of Nelson; four sisters, Nancy Vautour (Jimmy) of Moncton, Debbie Lee of Miramichi, Joan Dunn (Simon) of South Esk and Shirley Miller (John) of Victoria, BC; two brothers, Randy Lee (Cheryl) of Princeton, ON and Bruce Lee (Susan) of Miramichi; sister-in-law Carol Lee of Nelson; four grandchildren, Cody, Madison, Ally, and Dax; his close friends Brian Cummings, Paul Murphy, and Patrick Hughes; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Bobby and Doug (Late Carmel).

A celebration will be held at the Nelson Community Hall (102 Route 118, Nelson) on Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 2 pm to 4 pm. All are welcome to attend.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a memorial of one's choice.
