Joseph "David" Charles Lanteigne, of Miramichi, passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2017, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 56.

Born in Miramichi, he was the son of the late Edmund and June (Blackmore) Lanteigne. He worked at UPM before his retirement and was a former EMT with Saint John Ambulance.

He will be greatly missed by his sister April Lanteigne of Miramichi; two brothers Todd and Karl both of British Columbia; two nephews Destin and Bradley; great niece Maria; and his fur baby Shadow.

The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home, on Sunday, October 15, 2017, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday, October 16, 2017, at 1 pm, from Northumberland Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Willard Watling officiating.

The family would like to thank Dr. Kruger, Dr. Losier, Dr. Rigley, and all of the nursing staff at Miramichi Regional Hospital for the care and support given to David.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, or to a memorial of one's choice.
