Clyde Allen Arbeau, of Blissfield, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, at Hospice House in Fredericton, NB, at the age of 95.
Born in Upper Blackville, he was the son of the late Ruby and Elmer Arbeau. Prior to retirement, he worked in Forrest Protection for 30 years. He was a member of New Zion United Baptist Church, and in his later years attended Miramichi Valley Church.
He will be greatly missed by his children, Erma Clowater (Winston) of Doaktown, Nancy Palmer (Malcolm) of Fredericton, Sheila (Foran) of Alberta, Ricky Arbeau (Cathy) of Blissfield, and Kim Arbeau (Tara Fish) of Campbell River, BC; his sisters, Zena Foster (Ralph) of Parrsboro, NS, Paulette Stevenson of Truro, NS, and Carol Arbeau of Truro, NS; his brother Eric Arbeau (Late Joyce) of Barnettville; 12 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Leta (Peterson) Arbeau; his brothers, Arnold, Basil, Archie (Late Evelyn), and Keith; and his sisters, Virginia Moore (Late Mike) and Pat Peterson (Late Claude).
The family would like to thank Helen for the wonderful and exceptional care provided to Clyde.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the visitation at New Zion United Baptist Church on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, from 6 pm to 8 pm and on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, from 12 pm to 2 pm. The funeral service will follow at 2 pm, with Rev. Paul Inman and Tim Williamson officiating. Interment will take place in the church cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Hospice House-Fredericton, the Canadian Cancer Society, or to a memorial of one's choice.
