It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our precious mother, Clara Margaret (Carroll) Asoyuf, resident of Mount Saint Joseph Nursing Home, who passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 94.

Born in Ferry Road, NB, she was the daughter of the late John and Lucy (Trites) Carroll. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Clara was a devout member of St Mary's Roman Catholic Church. She volunteered for 15 years with prison ministry at Renous. She was a member of St Mary's Epiphany prayer group and a former member of St Mary's C.W.L.
She touched the hearts of many with her gifts of faith, prayer, empathy and compassion for others. She loved to play Auction 45's and attended various senior card parties around the river.

She is survived by her four sons Ronnie (Edna Boudreau) of Shediac, Gerald (Kerry) of Victoria, BC, Charles (Sharon) of Miramichi, and Gary of Miramichi; four daughters Marlene (Gary Gillespie) of South Esk, Gloria (George Driscoll) of Miramichi, Roxanne (Keith Hudgins) of Miramichi, and Dianne (Eric Hamilton) of Miramichi; 12 grandchildren Michel, Cynthia, Shannon, Cheryl, Parrish, Paula, Lesley, Shane, Wade, Marcia, John, and Gloria; 20 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Alden Asoyuf; son Richard; infant daughter Mary; sisters Mary, Annie, and Eileen; and brothers Edmund, Albert, and Walter.

The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home, on Wednesday, February 15, 2017, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, February 17, 2017, from Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Church, at 11 am, with Father Tom Fowler officiating.
