Cathy Violet Maillet-Matchett, wife of the late Allan Joseph Matchett, of Miramichi, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2015, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 57.

Born in Miramichi, she was the daughter of the late John and Suzanne (Carroll) Maillet. She worked as a health care aid with KRT & Associates and was a member of Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Church.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter Tara (Eddie Marsh) of Miramichi; son Desi of Edmonton, AB; two sisters Anne of Manitoba and Cindy of Wales; three brothers John (Joanne) of Miramichi, Rick (Wanda) of Miramichi, and Steve of Saskatchewan; three grandchildren Brooke, Owen, and Austin; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 2, 2015, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2015, at 11 am, from Northumberland Funeral Home Chapel, with Father Fowler officiating.

As expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Miramichi SPCA.
