Carman Hayden

Carman Hayden, of Miramichi, passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 45.

Born in Miramichi, he was the son of the late Adrian and Mary (Carney) Hayden. Carman volunteered with Miramichi Housing Solutions and enjoyed spending time with his cat, Rizzo, and a few very special people in his life. Many knew him as Mayor Hayden.

Carman is survived by his brothers, Carney Hayden of Miramichi and Clark Hayden (Crystal) of British Columbia; his nieces and nephews, Tatiana, Rebecca, Dominique, and Christopher; and his great-nieces and nephews, Sephora, Tayah, Jack, Zofia, and Elias. He will be greatly missed by his many friends and neighbours. 

A gathering will be held at Northumberland Funeral Home on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 3 pm to 5 pm, with a time to share memories and stories at 4 pm. A reception will take place afterwards at The Hub, located at 365 Pleasant St, Miramichi. 

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Miramichi Housing Solutions, or you may wish to donate and drop off recycled bottles at The Hub (365 Pleasant St.)
