Bryant David Lukiv

October 15, 1947 — December 18, 2025

Bryant David Lukiv of Trout Brook, NB was born in Lethbridge, Alberta October 15th,1947 to David Lukiv and Elizabeth Lukiv (Kallai) predeceased.

He passed away on Thursday, December 18th in the Miramichi Regional Hospital, NB after he lost his battle to cancer.

Bryant spent the majority of his life as a long haul truck driver logging most of his miles to Alaska and Seattle, through Canada he traveled to Sointula on Malcolm Island, BC / Dawson Creek and surrounding areas. Later in life a master in septic system installation & computer programming. He loved to garden and had a very green thumb, he always yielded the biggest most flavourful veggies and garlic. Bryant loved music, he played the guitar, organ, bag pipes and accordion all self taught. He rebuilt several hot rods, which he took great pride in with his friends, Dad and brother. He loved to talk and made friends every where he went. He was a man of many talents, he was our Super Hero.

Bryant leaves behind his wife Lorraine Morrison Lukiv of Sunny Corner, NB (separated), eldest daughter Lianne Marie Lukiv of Trout Brook, NB, youngest daughter Shannon Elizabeth Lukiv Cameron (Roger Allan) of Sunny Corner, NB. Grandchildren Kyle, Jared, Tristan, Kieran, Dreya, Ava and Caden, sister Sharon Anne McDonald (Peter) of Mission, BC, brother Lorne Lukiv (Linda) of Mission, BC, nieces, nephews and many dear friends from the West to East Coasts.

Our Family would like to thank all of Bryant’s care team for taking such great care of him during his Palliative stay. You were all so very kind to him.

Donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Bryant’s honour.

A celebration of Bryant’s life will follow at a later date.
