Brian Melvin Dunnet, of Miramichi, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2017, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 62.

Born in Atikokan, Ontario, he was the son of the late Glen and Genevieve (Buckley) Dunnet. He was a plumber and pipe fitter by trade and a member of the United Association of Plumbers & Pipe Fitters Local 325 , Royal Canadian Legion Branch No.10, and a Past President of the Miramichi Jaycees Club.

He will be greatly missed by his wife Anne (Robichaud) of Miramichi; two sisters Diana St-Onge (Ben) of Bathurst, and Suzanne Carroll (David) of Miramichi; one brother Gerald Dunnet (Barb) of Miramichi; brother-in-law Ron Robichaud of Miramichi; sister-in-law Debbie Leitch of Eckville, AB; two nephews Clint and Joshua; and niece Kelsey.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his nephew Curt Dunnet.

There will be a private family funeral service held on Wednesday, October 11, 2017, at 2 pm, from Northumberland Funeral Home Chapel, with Father Antonio Reyes officiating.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, or to a memorial of one's choice.
