  • Bertha MacCallum (Robertson) Wishart, of Tabusintac, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2014, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 94.

    Born in Tabusintac, she was the daughter of the late James D. and Mary Robertson. She was a homemaker and a member of St Andrew's United Church and the U.C.W. She also volunteered much of her time at the Tabusintac Library.

    She will be sadly missed by her daughter Mari-Anna (Mark Palmer) of Tabusintac; four sons Dale (Pat) of Halifax, NS, Reid (Catherine) of Tabusintac, Leigh (Kristyna) of Orillia, ON, and Laurie (Erma) of Tabusintac; nine grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; special niece and close friend Arline Morrison and close nephew and niece; two great nieces; as well as three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren in the extended family and many Great Great nieces and nephews.

    Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Burton Wishart; three brothers John, Arthur, and James; four sisters Velma, Maude, Jenny, and Georgina; one son Burton Jr. (Arlene Ross); and grandson Marshall John.

    A memorial service will take place from St Andrew's United Church, in Tabusintac, on Sunday, June 1, 2014, at 2 pm. With Rev Fred Douwsma officiating.

    As expression of sympathy, donations may be made to a memorial of one's choice.
