  • Bertha Arseneault, of Rogersville, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2015, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 88.
    Born in Rogersville, she was the daughter of the late Alexandre and Mary Jane (Richard) Martin. She was a member of Paroisse St-François-de-Sales, Rogersville.
    She will be sadly missed by her five daughters Sylvia (Ronald Maillet) of Montreal,QB, Francine Morais of Elliot Lake, ON, Irene Doucette of Gray Road, Alice (Alphonse Doucette) of Rogersville, and Rachael (Alphonse Doucette) of Collette; four sons Alfred (Alphonsine) of Rogersville, Paul (Marie) of Rexton, Vincent (Monique) of Rogersville, and Yvon (Bella) of Saint John; one brother Eddy Martin (Emma) of Rogersville; 16 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
    Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband François, her son Fernand, two sisters Anita and Ida, and four brothers Damien, Alfred, Alsime, and Leo.
    The family will receive relatives and friends from Paroisse St-François-de-Sales, Rogersville, on Thursday, October 8, 2015, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 9, 2015, at 11 am, from Paroisse St-François-de-Sales, with Father Doris Laplante officiating.
