  • Bernard Wayne Scott, of Miramichi, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2020, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 89.

    Born in Sillikers, he was the son of the late Charles and Annie (Travis) Scott. He worked as a custodian until his retirement.

    Bernard was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He will be greatly missed by his 16 nieces and nephews.

    Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers David, Percy, and Hudson; and his sisters Lottie Mullin, Lavina Marks, Ida Jardine, and Elmira McKay.

    At Bernard's request, there will be no visitation. A memorial will be held at 2 PM Thursday, September 10, 2020.

    A graveside service will also take place at Miramichi Cemetery on Friday, September 11, 2020, at 11 am. Due to Covid-19, social distancing will be practiced.
