Benedict "Benny" Pallen, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2016, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 83.

Born in Nelson, he was the son of the late Walter and Catherine (McLeod) Pallen. He was a retired labourer and. Member of Saint Patrick's Roman Catholic Church.

He will be sadly missed by his brother William (Billy) (Joan) of Miramichi; and several nieces and nephews.

At Benny's request, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will take place from St Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, on Thursday, October 20, 2016, at 11 am, with Father Arnie Hachey officiating.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a memorial of one's choice.
