Arnold Campbell, of South Cains River, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Friday February 17, 2012, at the age of 79. Born in South Cains River, NB, he was the son of the late Henry and Dorothy (Stewart) Campbell. 

Over the years, Arnold had many occupations including driving school bus, driving truck and guiding on the mighty Miramichi.  He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed hunting.

Arnold is survived by his two sons Tom (Lyanne) Campbell of Waasis, NB, and Eldon (Janet) Campbell of Moncton, NB. Arnold was also survived by two brothers, George (Mina) Campbell of Warwick, NB and Ralph (Bernice) Campbell of South Cains River, NB and one sister Ruth (Rick) of Toronto, Ontario; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Henry and Dorothy, Arnold was predeceased by his partner Phyllis Pashko, two brothers; Lloyd Sturgeon and Harold Campbell.

At Arnold’s request there will be no visitation.

A small funeral service will be held at the Miramichi Fellowship Centre, Blackville, on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at 7 PM.

In Arnold’s memory, donations may be made to the Cancer Society.
