Annie May Burke

Annie May (Coughlan) Burke, of Gray Rapids, passed away peacefully at Percy's Place on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at the age of 81.

Born in Miramichi, she was the daughter of the late George and Elizabeth (Vickers) Coughlan. She worked as a caregiver and was a member of St Agnes Anglican Church in Gray Rapids.

She will be greatly missed by her sons Dean (Karen) of Moncton, and Lanny (Raelene) of Gray Rapids; three sisters, Shirley Ellis (Late Vern) of Fredericton, Connie Curtis (Wesley) of Gray Rapids, and Lori Coughlan of Gray Rapids; brother, Dale Coughlan (Iona) of Gray Rapids; son-in-law, Alex Martin of Blackville; seven grandchildren, Joey (Becky), Marley (Richard), Lacey, Tara, Tyra, Justine, and Darian; as well as several great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, David Burke; daughter, Trudy Martin; and grandson, Dylan.

Visitation will take place at St Agnes Anglican Church in Gray Rapids, on Sunday, December 14, 2025, from 6 to 8 pm. The funeral service will take place on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 2 pm, at St Agnes Anglican Church, with Father Gerry Laskey officiating and assisted by Father Bob Barry.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to St Agnes Cemetery Fund, Miramichi SPCA, or to a memorial of one's choice.
