Annette (Cormier) Leger, of Miramichi and formerly of Moncton, passed away peacefully at Percy's Place, on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at the age of 81.
Born in Rothwell, NB, she was the daughter of the late Emery and Dalie (Gallant) Cormier. She worked in housekeeping at Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, for 43 years, prior to her retirement.
She will be greatly missed by her sisters Viola Layton (Late Gary) of Miramichi and Rosie Williams (Late Bob) of Minto; her brother Paul Cormier (Diane) of Quispamsis; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was recently predeceased by her husband Victor Leger; and her sister Eileen Cormier.
A graveside service, celebrating both Annette and Victor, will be held at St Bridget's Cemetery, in Hardwood Ridge, NB, on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 1 pm. A reception will follow at the Minto Seniors Club, 11 O'Leary Lane, Minto, NB.
The family would like to thank Dr. Gerard Losier, Judy Losier, and the Nursing Staff at Percy's Place, as well as the many volunteers, for their care and compassion.
