Au Foyer Assomption, Rogersville, le samedi 13 juin 2026, est décédée à l’âge de 86 ans, Angela Martin, de Collette. Elle était la fille de feu de Wilfred et Rita (Gaudet) Martin.
Elle a travaillé pour les Trappistes, le Foyer Mount Saint Joseph et le Foyer Assomption au service de ménage. Elle aimait tricoter, jouer aux cartes, et préparer des repas et les partager avec ses proches. Angela a fait partie de plusieurs groupes dans la communauté et a fait beaucoup de bénévolat. Elle adorait ces petits-enfants et arrière-petits-enfants.
Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants, Roméo Martin de Murray Settlement, Raymond Martin de Collette, Dianne Cormier (Jacques) de Moncton et Christine Martin de Dieppe; quatre soeurs, Corinne de Collette, Cécile (Gérard) de Rogersville, Bernadette de Saint-Jean et Simone (Gilles) de Dieppe; un frère, Fernand Martin (Huberte) de Collette; quatre petits-enfants, Manon (Robert), Luc, MacKenzie, et Denise; deux arrière-petits-enfants, Alexanne et Alexandre; ainsi que plusieurs nièces, neveux, belles-soeurs et beaux-frères.
Elle fut précédée dans la tombe par ses parents; son époux, Éloie Martin; quatre frères, Normand, Henrie, Calixe, et Armand; et deux soeurs, Laudia et Thélerise.
La famille recevra les condoléances au centre communautaire Collette, 30 chemin Collette, le lundi 22 juin, 2026, de 13h à 15h. Les funérailles seront célébrées à 15h, au centre communautaire, avec Père Mikely In Simon, suivi d’un goûter.
En mémoire d’Angela, un don au Foyer Assomption à Rogersville ou au cimetière Notre-Dame de Fatima, Collette, serait apprécié.

Angela Martin, of Collette, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at the Foyer Assomption in Rogersville, at the age of 86.
Born in Collette, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Rita (Gaudet) Martin. She worked for the Trappistes, Mount Saint Joseph Nursing Home, and the Foyer in housekeeping. She enjoyed knitting, playing cards, and preparing meals, especially sharing them with those she loved. She was a member of many groups in the community and spent a lot of her time volunteering. She adored her grandchildren and her great grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed by her children, Roméo Martin of Murray Settlement, Raymond Martin of Collette, Dianne Cormier (Jacques) of Moncton and Christine Martin of Dieppe; four sisters, Corinne of Collette, Cecile (Gérard) of Rogersville, Bernadette of Saint John, and Simone (Gilles) of Dieppe; one brother, Fernand Martin (Huberte) of Collette; four grandchildren Manon (Robert), Luc, MacKenzie, and Denise; and two great grandchildren, Alexanne and Alexandre; as well as several nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Éloie Martin; four brothers, Normand, Henrie, Calixe and Armand; and two sisters, Laudia, and Thélerise.
Visitation will take place at the community center in Collette, 30 Collette Rd., on Monday, June 22, 2026, from 1 pm to 3 pm. The funeral service will follow at 3 pm, at the community center, with Father Mikely In Simon officiating. A reception will take place following the service.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Foyer Assomption Rogersville or to the Cemetery Fund in Collette.
