Amanda Nazia (Gaffoor) Craft

Amanda Craft passed away peacefully at Percy's Place on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at the age of 40 after her courageous battle with brain cancer.

She will be deeply missed by her honourable husband, Merritt Craft; her loving mother and father, Curl Dillah and Nazir Gaffoor; her twin sisters, Sabrina Larrain, and Sara Gaffoor; her cherished niece, Nevaeh Adrielle; her many wonderful friends; and her adored cats, Ella and Eric.

Mandy was a quiet, caring, and deeply thoughtful woman who treasured those close to her heart and embraced being unapologetically herself.

She had a deep passion for creativity, beauty, and enchantment. Known as a talented pastry artist and self-taught fondant magician, she could create just about anything in the kitchen. Fresh breads, pastries, and sourdough were among her specialties, and she found joy in sharing her creations with the people she loved.

Mandy had a whimsical spirit that shone through her love of fantasy, theatre, concerts, musicals, art, and all things magical and enchanting. She enjoyed expressing herself through her paintings and drawings.

Mandy will be remembered for her beautiful smile, gentle soul, and the warmth she brought to those lucky enough to know her. Forever loved, endlessly missed, and never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life held at the Gilda's Club Simcoe Muskoka (10 Quarry Ridge Rd, Barrie, ON L4M 7G1) on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 3 pm.

As expressions of sympathy, donations made to Percy's Place, where Amanda received wonderful care in her final weeks or to Gilda's Club, where she received a great deal of support, made many friends and enjoyed many good times.
