It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, husband, and friend, Allan Clark, who left us peacefully at the age of 79.
Born with a quiet strength and a hardworking spirit, he spent most of his life dedicated to his work at the mill. His commitment, reliability, and pride in a job well done earned him the respect of everyone who worked beside him. After many years of loyal service, he retired and embraced a slower pace of life- one filled with family, small joys, and well-deserved rest.
He was the devoted husband of Dianne (Hackett) Clark, the love of his life and his faithful partner through all of life's seasons. Together, they built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unconditional love.
He was a proud father to four children: Gary Clark (Marie Sturgeon) of Chelmsford, Paul Clark (Monique) of Miramichi, Paula Clark (Luc Martin) of McKinleyville, and April Flynn (Patrick) of Redmondville, who will forever cherish his wisdom, gentle guidance, and the steady presence he offered throughout their lives. To them, he was not just a father but a role model, a protector, and a constant source of support.
He also leaves behind four sisters Audrey Clouston of Derby, Evelyn Hubbard of Nelson, Donna (Wayne Corcoran) of McKinleyville; and June Gallant (Ricky) of Barnaby; one brother, Keith Clark (Dale) of Sunny Corner; two sisters-in-law, Sandra Hackett of Dieppe and Peggy Hackett of Barnaby River; eight grandchildren Kyle, Natasha, Chantelle, Joshua, Matthew, Emma, Shanice, and Riley; 12 great grandchildren, Jaxx, Luka, Bryson, Jalie, Denver, Lexi, Brylee, Alaya, Abby, Ariana, Taylor, and Dylan; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Dianne (Hackett) Clark; his parents-in-law, Carl and Ruby Hackett; his brothers-in-law, Phil Hackett, Warren Hackett, Lester Hackett, and Ernie Hubbard; and his sister-in-law, Josephine Butler.
Those who knew him will remember his kindness, his honesty, and the quiet way he showed his love- through hard work, strong values, and the simple acts of care he gave so freely.
He leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and family devotion that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
