Au Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste de Bouctouche N.-B., le 28 mars 2026, est décédé Achille Albert Richard, originaire de Bellefond, N.-B.
Il était le fils de Michel et Alizine (Robichaud) Richard. Il est demeuré dans la maison paternelle avec sa sœur, Jeannette, et son neveu, Paul-Émile Richard (Geneviève Robichaud), et leur fille Danyka, jusqu’à son placement en résidence.
Il laisse dans le deuil son frère, Émile (Laura) Richard, ainsi qu’un beau-frère et ami, William (feu Rosemonde), marié en secondes noces à Jeanne (Morris) Richard. Il laisse aussi dans la peine ses neveux et nièces, André LeBreton et Jérôme McLaughlin, de Miramichi N.-B., Paul (Sandra) LeBreton, Lorraine LeBreton Stevens et Corinne (Dave) McKay, de Bellefond N.-B., Jeannine (Mark) Delarosbil et Maryanne (Jeff) Crane, tous deux de Charlottetown Î.-P.-É., Margaret McLaughlin d’Alberta et Joanne Richard de Saint John N.-B. Il laisse aussi dans le deuil plusieurs petits-neveux et petites-nièces.
Il était membre de la Paroisse L’Ascension de Beaverbrook-Bellefond, membre des Chevalier de Colomb Père-Alfred-Landry Beaverbrook-Bellefond-Miramichi, et membre du 4e degré C de C Assemblée 2000 de Rivière-du-Portage N.-B.
Ses parents, son frère Lionel (1940), ses sœurs, Rosemonde Richard (1992), Marie Anne McLaughlin (2019), Jeannette Richard (2021) et Muriel LeBreton (2025) l’ont précédé dans la tombe. Il est aussi parti rejoindre ses neveux, Richard LeBreton et Michel McLaughlin, et ses nièces, Lucyanna et Maria LeBreton, sa petite-nièce Michelle LeBreton, et son petit-neveu Christopher McLaughlin.

Achille Albert Richard, formerly of Beaverbrook, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the Manoir Saint-Jean Baptist, in Bouctouche.
He was the son of Michel and Aziline (Robichaud) Richard. He lived in the family homestead with his sister, Jeannette, his nephew Paul-Émile Richard (Geneviève Robichaud), and their daughter Danyka, until moving to the Manor.
He is survived by his brother, Émile (Laura) Richard, and his brother-in-law and friend, William (Late Rosemonde), along with his second wife Jeanne (Morris) Richard. He also leaves behind his nephews and nieces, André LeBreton and Jérôme McLaughlin, of Miramichi N.-B., Paul (Sandra) LeBreton, Lorraine LeBreton Stevens and Corinne (Dave) McKay, of Bellefond N.-B., Jeannine (Mark) Delarosbil and Maryanne (Jeff) Crane, both of Charlottetown PE, Margaret McLaughlin of Alberta and Joanne Richard of Saint John N.-B. As well as several great nieces and great nephews.
He was a member of Paroisse de L’Ascension in Beaverbrook-Bellefond, member of the Knights of Columbus Council Père-Alfred-Landry Beaverbrook-Bellefond-Miramichi, and Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council 2000 of Rivière-du-Portage N.-B.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Lionel (1940), his sisters, Rosemonde Richard (1992), Marie Anne McLaughlin (2019), Jeannette Richard (2021) and Muriel LeBreton (2025). He also joins his nephews Richard LeBreton and Michel McLaughlin, his nieces, Lucyanna and Maria LeBreton, his great niece Michelle LeBreton, and his great nephew Christopher McLaughlin.
The family would like to sincerely thank the staff and volunteers at Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste in Bouctouche N.-B., for their professionalism, care, and compassion shown towards Achille.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Northumberland Funeral Home, 102 Pleasant St. Miramichi, on Monday, March 30, 2026, beginning at 1 pm until the funeral service at 3 pm.
As expressions of sympathy, and in lieu of flowers, donations made to a memorial of one’s choice in Achille’s memory, would be greatly appreciated.
